Allow me to introduce myself!

Raylyn with "Treatment in Progress" sign on a door.

My name is Raylyn, but all my friends call me Ray. I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist located in Tulia, Texas.

I became a massage therapist because massages gave me relief from the chronic migraines I have lived with for most of my life, and I want to provide others with the same relief I have found.

I attended Oceans Massage School in Lubbock and became legally licensed by the State of Texas by the end of July 2023. Since then, I have continued my education and am certified in Cupping and TMJ Massage.

I work with clients looking for relief from chronic pain and stress. Whether you are looking for pain relief or relaxation, I would love to see you!

How did I become an LMT?

This is the most common question I get, “Raylyn, why did you decide to become a massage therapist?”

The answer to that is long and complex, but the short version is that I have lived in chronic pain for the majority of my life. I remember getting my first migraine at the age of 3. One of the only methods that brought true relief from the pain was massage therapy.

Fast forward to 2020: When the pandemic hit, I was working as a TV news producer. The high stress was extremely detrimental to my health, so I decided to change career paths to something peaceful. Becoming an LMT has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I hope to bring the pain relief I have felt back to the people in my community.

Have questions about massage therapy? I have a massage FAQs page!

  • "That was the best massage I have ever had - and I have had massages in different countries, on cruise ships, all over."

  • Ray: "How are you feeling?" Client: "Yes."

  • "I feel so much better. I am going to go home and finish my nap."
